You can now find Stacie Jewelry at a new store! G Squared is a beautiful gallery in Ligonier, Pennsylvania.
They have a wonderful variety of Home and Garden, Fine Art, Jewelry and other Gift Ideas. When I stopped by the Gallery a few weeks ago to drop off my jewelry, I really felt at home. Everyone at the shop was very friendly and welcoming. Ligonier is a quaint town with a center gazebo, interesting shops and a great Italian Gelato Cafe!
To find out a little more about G Squared visit their website at www.gquaredligonier.com and their blog at www.gsquaredligonier.blogspot.com. If you can't get to Pennsylvania, they do have some of my jewelry loaded on their website.
I am really excited about G Squared and look forward to working together! Thanks!

Creative Time With Friends!
With the kids back to school, three friends and I got together this week to create new Planners for the school year. We had a great time, eating, talking and drinking mimosas and coffee. Since making a planner tends to be a big project, we decided to allow two full days to work together.
On our first day, I decided to create a piece of fabric paper. I talked about this process in a Fabric Paper Design post last December. This is one of my favorite ways to "play" with design and color. Here is a look at what the fabric paper turned out like:
The next step for me was to paint the front and back cover with black gesso, one of my favorites. I decided to use glimmer mist on the front to give the cover a little sparkle. I drew a tree on the back side of the fabric paper, cut it out and glued it to the front cover. Using old Somerset Magazines (they tend to have the best fonts), I cut out the letters for the word Planner.
For the pages, I used the free printable weekly planner page templates available at Vertex42. I used these pages last year for my Planner and they worked great to keep track of all the millions of kid activities and all the jewelry To-dos.
For a final organizational tool, I sewed a pocket using Grunge paper from Tim Holtz. I love the feel and the smell of this paper! It smells like leather!
So here is the final result! Let me know what you think about my new Planner.
I love the awesome metal key that my friend Allison gave me. I am using it as a page marker, it sure beats the paper clips I used last year.
I did get a chance to finish up a few pieces of new jewelry; a pair of flip flop earrings, coffee cup earrings, a peace sign necklace and a few other surprises. Look for the new pieces to appear on my Esty shop over the next few days.
I hope all of you have a wonderful weekend and I will be back to blog on Monday about what will be happening next week at my studio. Stay tuned for a news of a New Store carrying Stacie Jewelry....

Allison Lee...Artist of the Week
Welcome to my first installment of Artist of the Week. Each Wednesday, I will be selecting an artist who inspires me with their work and writing a feature article about them in my blog.
This week I have selected my friend and fellow artist, Allison Lee of Papercrafts by Allison. Allison creates beautiful handmade cards, gifts, and bookmarks. I think what I enjoy most about Allison's work is the peaceful and joyful feeling that I get when I look at her artwork. She has a unique style that captures a feeling of peace and kindness.
Her handmade cards incorporate design and creativity with special attention to detail. Here are a few samples of her work:
Take some time to look at Allison's Etsy shop, Papercrafts by Allison and to read her blog, Thoughtful Creations, you will be happy that you did! I can't wait to see what she creates next!

Along with her cards, she also creates bookmarks and handmade gifts. I particularly like the small collage birdhouses. She made me one for a gift and I love it. It is sitting on my windowsill in my studio so I can enjoy it while I work. Look at these two beautiful birdhouses:

New Look!
Hello everyone,
Welcome to the beginning of another school year. The kids left this morning, so I sat down with a cup of coffee and began playing around with my blog design. I have to say it was a lot of fun. I hope you like the new design.
Along with the new design, comes a few changes. I have decided to concentrate my efforts on my on line Etsy business and the stores that sell my jewelry. I am moving away from the Art shows. Because of those changes, I will have more time to dedicate to my blog and online Etsy shop.
So, here is my tentative blog writing schedule:
Monday....all about what is new for Stacie Jewelry.
Wednesday....featured artist of the week.
Friday....what I did in my studio during the week.
Since today is Monday, I have some excited news about Stacie jewelry to share...
If you'd like to sign up for my newsletter, let me know that when you email me and I will include your email in my mailing list. If you'd prefer not to receive a newsletter, that's OK, I'll just keep your email until I announce the winner.
I hope that you have a wonderful day!
